Lead the design of AI-native business applications and end-to-end customer experiences for AWS Applied AI Solutions, defining experience strategy, interaction paradigms, and human-AI collaboration models while driving rapid prototyping and design quality across products.

Senior UX Designer for AWS Applied AI Solutions responsible for defining experience strategy and shaping product direction for AI-native business applications. The role operates at both system and product levels to translate ambiguous problem spaces into clear, opinionated experience directions and to evolve human-AI collaboration patterns, trust models, and interaction paradigms.

• Define and drive end-to-end UX strategy across complex product areas and multi-service journeys.
• Lead design of proactive, context-aware AI teammates and establish scalable interaction models for trust and transparency.
• Apply system-level thinking to create cohesive experiences and drive reusable design patterns, frameworks, and quality standards.
• Leverage AI-accelerated workflows, rapid prototyping, and vibe coding to explore ideas, validate concepts and produce tangible artifacts.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and applied science to shape strategy, roadmaps and influence senior stakeholders through storytelling and customer insights.
• Drive customer understanding and validation through research, experimentation and data; mentor other designers and elevate design quality.

• 7+ years of design experience.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end design for complex systems or cross-product experiences.
• Strong track record of influencing product strategy and cross-functional decisions.
• Expertise in interaction design with high standards for usability, clarity and craftsmanship.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered design tools and rapid prototyping workflows.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for influencing senior stakeholders.

• Experience designing AI-powered or intelligent systems, especially AI teammates or agentic experiences.
• Experience defining new interaction paradigms for emerging technologies.
• Strong systems thinking and experience building or scaling design systems and frameworks.
• Experience working in highly ambiguous problem spaces and mentoring other designers.
• Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with rapid exploration and iteration.
