About the Role

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what’s next for their business with technology built in the cloud. As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) you will guide customers through the strategic and technical facets of their Google Cloud transformation journey, manage the delivery of Cloud Consulting engagements, and engage with leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey. Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goals and business transformation strategies.
  • Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development. Lead across multiple work streams and teams to maintain customer momentum.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand customers’ business, create strategic roadmaps, and lead quarterly business reviews and executive sessions.
  • Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with support, engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure customer success, and work with customers and Support to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
  • Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale through partners and accelerate Google Cloud adoption.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of customer‑facing experience supporting cloud operations (e.g., launch or capacity planning, product release management), technical support, and escalation management.
  • Experience with cloud implementation and transformation programs, including migration to public cloud providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, problem‑solving, and client management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Technical, or Engineering.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with teams, groups, business units, channel partners, systems integrators, and third‑party developers to deliver high‑impact solutions.
  • Understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud‑native application development, hosted services, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
Compensation and Benefits

US: $114,000 – $164,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
