Strategic IT Procurement & Vendor Manager

The IT Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end IT supplier lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and strategic procurement. This role focuses on securing the best pricing, terms, and service levels while ensuring compliance with company policies and service level agreements (SLAs). The manager will identify cost‑saving opportunities, support IT hardware/software purchases and renewals, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to integrate new systems and technologies smoothly.

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify IT suppliers based on business needs, technical requirements, and budget constraints.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key vendors and service providers.
• Manage IT contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Oversee contract renewals, extensions, and terminations based on vendor performance and strategic needs.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and explore alternative sourcing options.
• Collaborate with IT teams on hardware and software procurement, renewals, and decommissioning.
• Engage internal stakeholders to understand IT requirements and align procurement with business objectives.
• Support procurement of data center equipment and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with legal and business units on contract terms for on‑premises and SaaS solutions.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely delivery of IT products and services.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SaaS, cloud, and on‑premises IT solutions is a plus.
