Engineering Project Manager

Client's Environmental Technologies group is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to lead enterprise-scale projects supporting Client's Smarter Chemistry initiatives and global environmental compliance programs.

The role involves close collaboration with SMEs, stakeholders, cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and business partners throughout the full project lifecycle — from requirements gathering and solution design through development, deployment, testing, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing large-scale programs, business systems, PLM/BOM processes, and cross-functional project execution in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage medium to large-scale enterprise projects across multiple work streams
  • Develop and execute project plans including: scope management, scheduling, deliverables tracking, prioritization, risk management
  • Aggregate detailed plans from multiple functional teams into a unified project roadmap
  • Drive alignment between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors
  • Provide regular project updates and executive summaries to stakeholders and leadership
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues and risks
  • Lead meetings with process owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), internal and external technical teams, business stakeholders
  • Ensure business processes and technical solutions are accurately documented and understood
  • Work closely with business process teams, design teams, technical services, data management, change management, system integration teams
  • Collaborate with solution managers and leadership on strategic initiatives and change management activities
  • Manage projects using Agile, Waterfall, hybrid methodologies
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test strategy creation, test script development, execution oversight
  • Coordinate deliverable development with business analysts, technical project managers, business stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage risks, issues, decisions, scope changes, schedules, value tracking
  • Document and maintain project status using Client-approved tools such as Chorus, Quip, Keynote, Wrike, Miro
  • Create and maintain project charters, communication plans, project management plans, benefits trackers, risk registers, status reports, change logs, value trackers
Required Qualifications
  • 8–10+ years of project/program management experience
  • Minimum 3 years leading large-scale enterprise programs
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven track record delivering mission-critical projects
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, Bills of Material (BOM), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in electronics industry preferred
  • Legal operations experience is a plus
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Client Enterprise Project Management (EPM), project management methodologies, enterprise systems implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive consensus across teams
