As part of the Customer Engineering organization in Google Public Sector, you will work with cross-functional teams of experts to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern cloud strategies in the public sector space. The Google Public Sector Principal Architect role is a hybrid technical and business advisor role. In this role, you will exhibit executive level qualities, lead the conversation, and direct the execution of the Sales team by combining both technical direction and business insight.
You will partner with Value Engineering to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and the overall business partnership with Google Public Sector.

Responsibilities:
- Build a trusted advisory relationship with education accounts and engage with Architects, Vice Presidents, Chief Technical Officers and Chief Information Officers to identify customer priorities, technical objections, and design strategies encompassing the entire Google ecosystem to deliver value and resolve blockers.
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and promote Google Cloud with public sector customers, at conferences, and online.
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution while providing best practices to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
- Manage the enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, technical teams, and more.
- Onsite client-facing work at least 3 days a week with Stanford University.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $152000 - $222000 (USD) + 42.86% bonus target + equity + benefits.
