Network Infrastructure

The team you will be a part of

The Dev Ops Engineer manages new software version releases based on scrum or agile release cycles. Iteratively develops, configures, operates, and improves automation for the management and operations of new generation IT&T services.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of the team, you will:

  • Solves complex problems and challenges relating to the performance of service operations automation.
  • Has in-depth business knowledge and uses understanding of how relevant areas integrate to achieve objectives.
  • Shares ideas for professional direction of Dev Ops activities.
  • Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for Managed Services Development Operations (MS Dev Ops) staff
  • Manages new software versions releases based on scrum or agile release cycle to meet customer requirements.

Your skills and experience

You have :

  • Minimum BS Degree in Computer Science, equivalent, or better
  • Strong knowledge of Linux platform and CLI
  • Experience in software development, operations, and/or site reliability
  • Experience in Infrastructure automation

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux platform and CLI
  • Proficiency at Git and the Github pull request model
  • Building software and continuous integration (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse, etc.)
  • Network protocols and virtual packet switching
  • Cloud computing infrastructure (Libvirt, Qemu, Openstack, Cloudstack, Docker, Kubernetes etc. Openstack preferred)
  • Experienced in System Builds, System Administration, Installs, Upgrades, Patches, Troubleshooting on UNIX/Linux Systems.

    Salary Range: $121,377 - $225,414 USD Nokia Maintains broad annual base salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, and with consideration to internal peer equity
