We are seeking a skilled German & Portuguese Pedagogist to collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product Managers, UI Designers, UX Researchers, and Engineers to define pedagogical guidelines and evaluation rubrics tailored to learners of German and Portuguese across multiple proficiency levels.

You will evaluate AI/LLM-generated content, create high-quality learning examples, and provide insights that directly shape the product experience for language learners.

This role is ideal for someone who combines expertise in teaching languages with experience in content design and a passion for building engaging digital learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and define quality rubrics for evaluating AI/LLM-generated speaking, listening, vocabulary, and learning recommendations across proficiency levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
• Create golden examples of learning content and scenarios tailored to different learner levels in German and Portuguese.
• Evaluate and refine LLM-generated learning content, ensuring pedagogical accuracy and learner relevance.
• Partner with UX and Product teams to test product experiences, providing actionable feedback and pedagogical insights.
• Analyze learner needs, pain points, and comprehension gaps; propose user-centered solutions aligned with product and technology constraints.
• Leverage data and metrics to assess product effectiveness and inform improvements.
• Stay current with language learning trends and competitor products to provide informed recommendations.

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience teaching German and Portuguese to non-native speakers.
• Demonstrated experience in language learning content design for German and Portuguese.
• Fluency in English for cross-team collaboration and communication.

Education:

• Degree in Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
