Job Description International Tech – Quality Engineer

Strong Knowledge of JavaScript/Type Script, CI/CD, and Test Automation/Manual Testing
Ideal candidate will have experience with technical test automation using Node.js and Test Cafe
Will work on Walmart Commerce Platform (WCP) project, covering both MX & CA markets
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of testing experience in large-scale web and/or e-commerce applications
- 3+ years of experience on leading test activities on mobile, desktop and responsive web platforms
- Well-versed in JavaScript/Type Script, CI/CD, and Test Automation/Manual Testing
- Experience testing applications and knowledge of technologies such as REST, HTTP
- Experience with web and mobile technologies HTTP, HTML, XML, JSON, SQL, JavaScript, Node.js, typescript
- Experience with environment configurations, defect tracking, build or release management and debugging tools
Responsibilities:
- Create Automation Test Suite for In-sprint/E2E Automation
- Carry out Manual Testing for In-Sprint/E2E regression if required
- Perform E2E regression for all the App, CCM & GQL releases
- Create Looper Jobs and maintain automation test execution via Looper
- Configure sauce lab to run the test cross platform
- Configure Applitools to integrate visual testing for the automation test suite
- Maintain International library and keep updating new functionalities
- Review PR which are tagged to International automation team
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and drive the end-to-end testing initiatives through automation
- Work closely with partner teams and contribute to QE validation as necessary for international markets
- Drive large scale and complex E2E integration testing efforts across various teams and systems (through automation)
- Plan test schedules and drive test execution activities based on E2E integration testing
- Provide clear visibility on plans, communicate issues/risks and progress to the team and leadership to resolve quality issues on time and keep the project schedule on track
- Participate in improving test processes, propose new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product
