Cyber Security Engineer

Description

Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle. Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions. Coordinates and addresses Supply Chain risk management concerns. Develop, evaluate and analyze design constraints, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain.

Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions. Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application.

• Bachelor’s in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent field
• Understanding of Cyber Security analysis, application, implementation
• Understanding of Systems Engineering, Systems design, Systems Development Life Cycle
• Possess or ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance

• Understanding, experience in the application of Systems Engineering principles, Systems Design, Systems Development Life Cycle
• Understanding of the Risk Management Framework and its application to information systems
• Understanding of the design and/or operation of satellite and ground systems
• Experience in applying Cyber Security capabilities and concepts to information systems
• Demonstrated Cyber Security Engineering proficiency consistent with DoD 8140
• Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communications skills

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI.

Annual base salary range (excluding most major metropolitan areas) is $68,000 - $119,830. Pay is based on location and qualifications. This position is incentive plan eligible.
