The Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, leads the development and execution of complex data models and analytical strategies to drive impactful business outcomes. This role partners with senior leadership to identify key challenges and deliver actionable insights that support strategic planning. Responsible for managing cross-functional projects and mentoring a high-performing team, the position ensures the successful implementation of innovative analytics solutions. The role demands strong collaboration across business areas to enhance decision-making, optimize performance, and foster continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.

The team leads Walmart Search's data science and measurement strategy, collaborating with senior leaders to drive business growth. They develop the analytical roadmap for ranking, relevance, and monetization while building an advanced self-serve analytics platform to accelerate insights. The team designs and executes large-scale experimentation programs, including A/B testing across search ranking, user interface, and monetization features. By applying advanced analytics and machine learning, they focus on innovation and impact to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Lead and develop a high-performing advanced analytics team to deliver impactful business insights and solutions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to identify key challenges and develop data-driven strategies.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex data models and algorithms to support business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end project execution, including risk assessment, testing, and validation of analytical solutions.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities and engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating analytics effectiveness and adopting innovative techniques.
• Communicate actionable recommendations to influence strategic decision-making across business areas.
