The Wearables AI team sits at the intersection of on-device machine learning, sensor fusion, voice and multimodal AI, and consumer hardware — developing the systems that make wearables genuinely intelligent companions.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead portfolio-defining programs across AI model development, wearable software stacks, and cross-functional product delivery. In this role, you will partner with engineering and product leaders to define strategy, drive execution, and bring AI-powered wearable experiences to market at scale.

---## Technical Program Manager, Wearables AI Responsibilities
* Partner with engineering and product leaders to define and drive the technical strategy and program roadmap for AI capabilities on wearable devices, including on-device inference, multimodal AI, and voice assistant experiences
* Establish effective and scalable program structures for portfolio-defining initiatives spanning AI model development, wearable hardware-software integration, and cloud-to-device AI pipelines
* Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale, cross-functional programs across AI research, embedded software, hardware, and product teams, managing complex interdependencies and aggressive delivery timelines
* Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate technical and program risks across the wearables AI portfolio, including model performance trade-offs, on-device compute constraints, and privacy considerations
* Drive alignment and commitment across organizational boundaries, resolving conflicts between AI platform teams, wearable hardware teams, and product organizations at the director level and above
* Translate complex AI and wearable technology concepts into clear, structured communications for executive audiences, producing artifacts that serve as long-term strategic references
* Define and track technical metrics and program health indicators that illuminate progress on AI model quality, latency, power efficiency, and feature delivery for wearable products
* Anticipate scalability challenges in AI development and deployment workflows for wearables and proactively redesign processes to sustain velocity as the portfolio grows
* Represent the TPM function in company-wide forums, build playbooks for AI program management best practices, and contribute to TPM community development through mentorship and hiring
* Leverage AI-integrated workflows and tooling to accelerate program analysis, risk identification, and stakeholder communication across the wearables AI organization##

Minimum Qualifications
* 12+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or systems engineering, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or consumer hardware products
* Experience leading portfolio-defining programs that span on-device AI or machine learning, embedded software, and consumer hardware development from inception through launch
* Demonstrated experience as a subject matter expert in AI or ML systems, including on-device inference, model optimization, or multimodal AI, with the ability to influence technical direction at the organizational level
* Experience building cross-organizational relationships with directors and above, driving alignment on technical strategy, and resolving complex program conflicts across multiple engineering and product organizations
* Experience producing executive-level communications that bring clarity to ambiguous, technically complex programs and serve as durable strategic references across the organization##
