This role involves active web research, manual annotation, visual quality assurance, and reviewing multiple information sources to assess the accuracy and identity of real-world places and businesses.

Required Qualifications- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in judgment across large volumes of records
- Proficiency in English — excellent reading, writing, and web research skills; ability to efficiently locate, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple online sources
- Ability to cross-reference conflicting information across sources and make a reasoned, well-documented judgment

- Experience evaluating place or business data for accuracy, completeness, or duplication
- Experience identifying visual inconsistencies or defects in image data
- Experience with annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, CBAT, or similar platforms)
- Proficiency in one or more Indian languages — ability to read and interpret place names, reviews, and web content in local scripts is valuable for annotating Indian-market POI data
- Familiarity with how POI (Point of Interest) data is structured and used in mapping or local search products
- Basic programming experience (e.g., Python)
