About the Role

The Product Management team is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who is technical, collaborative, and truly excited about building great cloud security products. In this role, you will bring your in-depth knowledge of cloud workload protection to help guide the evolution of Crowd Strike’s Cloud Security Product offerings. You will work closely with engineering, researchers, product marketing, sales, support, and other product managers.

You will bring existing knowledge of product management best practices and apply them in delivering significant new features and enhancements, addressing the needs of Dev Ops. The successful candidate will have the ability to interface and influence cross-functional teams throughout the company. This is a hybrid role requiring 2‑3 days per week on‑site in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the product leader for major initiatives around Cloud Workload Protection for Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, and containers.
  • Understand public and private cloud workloads including Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, and container security markets and capabilities.
  • Utilize strategic insight and organizational skills to identify unmet customer needs, define the roadmap, use cases, and advance the functional capabilities of this offering.
  • Interact with different audiences such as Cloud Security Architects, Dev Ops, Incident Responders, Developers, and Hunters to define innovative products.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Data Science to understand threat and attack trends and deliver new visibility and defenses.
  • Partner with marketing to help define go‑to‑market strategy and messaging, assist with product positioning, benefits, and target personas.
  • Engage with sales and support to champion recent releases and guide future product direction.
  • Partner with UX professionals to help deliver a world‑class user experience.
  • Conduct competitive analyses and maintain current information regarding competitive activity.
  • Work on a team of high‑performing product professionals in a very collaborative environment.
  • Support up to 10% travel to customer and Crowd Strike locations worldwide.
What You’ll Need
  • 4+ years of enterprise product management experience, with direct experience in managing cloud security product lines.
  • Understanding of Linux, VMware, Cloud Workload Protection, CI/CD and the Dev Sec Ops  culture and needs.
  • Engineering or BS degree or equivalent work experience; a Master’s or MBA is desirable.
  • Adept at understanding and curious about new technologies, systems, and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to properly translate and articulate positioning and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers in research, engineering, and product marketing.
  • Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.

This position requires up to 10% travel to customer and Crowd Strike locations worldwide.
