Overview
Google Cloud is looking for a Customer Engineer based in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on helping customers adopt Google Cloud products, building relationships, and collaborating with technical sales teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience with cloud‑native architecture in a customer‑facing or support role.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on‑premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
- Strong security knowledge (encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, pen testing).
- Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
- Share Google Cloud expertise to support technical relationships with customers (bid responses, product briefings, proof‑of‑concept work).
- Demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and infrastructure for complete solutions on Google Cloud.
- Lead prospecting and acquisition of net new logos, building relationships from scratch.
The base salary range for this full‑time position is $125,000‑$183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
