Skill Sets Niche Skill Experience Preference

  • 1. Design, deploy, and manage highly available, distributed Cockroach DB clusters supporting mission-critical, multi-region production workloads.
  • 2. Own schema design, indexing strategy, and query performance tuning to ensure low-latency reads/writes at scale in a distributed SQL environment.
  • 3. Monitor cluster health, replication, and consistency (Raft consensus, range distribution, hot spots) and proactively resolve performance and availability issues.
  • 4. Partner with application and platform engineering teams to plan safe schema migrations, capacity scaling, and disaster recovery/backup strategies.
