Teradata Techno Functional Lead
Candidates with 7+ years of experience with Teradata. Data warehousing experience and DB technology experience such as SQL are required. Any reporting experience is a plus. Hands on with crafting PL/SQL, DB Design, Coding Standards, Application layer, Performance tuning. Active working knowledge of data loading tool stack TPT, Fast Load, MLoad, TPump. Working experience with huge volumes of data. Expected to lead offshore database engineers.
Knowledge/Experience on writing stored procedure/macros. Monitoring jobs and identifying/fixing non-performing jobs & queries. Propose alternate solutions and suggestions to improve query quality and performance. Indexing and Partition techniques. Unix Shell Scripting knowledge. Should have worked on Autosys job scheduling. Experience in creating technical designs document and following them through rigorous hard work. Good unit testing and integration test strategies. Good written and oral communication and decent experience to appreciate importance of good project management.
Good programming skills with experience in leading small to medium projects. Good teamwork and operational skills.
