Performance Engineer W/Database Tuning
Bill Rate- $95/hr. (Bill rate is flexible for candidates who meet all requirements). Location
- Onsite in Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA NO SUBCONTRACTING ALLOWED!!!! (CANDIDATES SUBMITTED MUST BE A W-2 EMPLOYEE OF YOUR ORGANIZATION)! Duration- 12 mos.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience in performance engineering with some exposure to SAP or similar packaged products/DBs
- Strong experience in DB performance tuning and engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience in doing in-depth root cause analysis to identify performance bottlenecks
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, and C++.
- Expertise in performance testing tools, including Load Runner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, visualization, end-to-end performance evaluation, and root cause analysis.
- Experience working with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs.
- Proficient in using application performance monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and App Dynamics.
- Skilled in using various profiling tools to efficiently identify performance bottlenecks.
