ERP Engineer - Business Systems

The ERP Engineer is a hands-on member of the Business Intelligence and Systems team responsible for designing, building and operating scalable ERP solutions for Cerebras. The role will translate complex Finance, Supply Chain, manufacturing, datacenter and enterprise requirements into reliable system capabilities, integrations and workflow automations.

This engineer will serve as a technical owner for connected ecosystem. The role combines solution architecture with direct configuration and development, on demand production support, and delivery through Scrum and Agile practices. Success requires strong technical judgment, business-process fluency, and the ability to move work from an ambiguous need to a secure, tested and supportable production solution.

• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy and support solutions that meet current business needs and scale with company growth.

• Build solutions using native configuration, workflows, custom records

• Produce solution designs that define process flows, data models, integrations, controls, environments, testing, deployment, monitoring and support requirements.

• Evaluate requests and select the simplest sustainable approach across native ERP capabilities, configuration, customization, integration, automation, or process change.

• Establish reusable technical patterns and reduce unnecessary customization, fragile dependencies, and long-term support burden.

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Data Center Operations and other teams to translate requirements into effective ERP solutions.

• Design and improve end-to-end processes including procure to pay, order to cash, record to report, inventory, receiving, fulfillment, warehouse transactions, returns and RMA, fixed assets and management reporting.

• Lead technical discovery, assess gaps and dependencies, and recommend options with clear effort, risk, data ownership, validation, reconciliation and support requirements.

• Design, build and support integrations between the ERP and adjacent platforms such as PLM, procurement, contracts, HR, expense, banking, CRM, data and warehouse systems.

• Create reusable integration services and automation patterns while maintaining clear systems of record and business ownership.

• Deliver work through a Scrum-based operating model, participating actively in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, estimation, demonstrations and retrospectives.

• Work with business systems analysts and product owners to convert business needs into epics, user stories, technical tasks, acceptance criteria and a sequenced delivery plan.

• Break complex initiatives into testable increments and communicate scope, dependencies, risks, tradeoffs and delivery status clearly.

• Maintain a strong definition of done covering design approval, code review, testing, security and control validation, documentation, deployment readiness and operational handoff.

• 8+ years of experience in ERP engineering, business systems, enterprise applications, integrations or related technical roles, with meaningful production ownership in complex environments.

• 5+ years of hands-on Net Suite experience, including solution design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment and support.

• Strong Suite Script and JavaScript or Type Script skills, with practical experience using Suite Talk, REST and SOAP APIs, SuiteQL, saved searches and Net Suite security concepts.

• Demonstrated ability to design and build complete solutions rather than only administer applications or coordinate vendors.
