Role Overview
As a Digital Education Manager, you will combine deep network engineering expertise with instructional design and facilitation skills to deliver high-impact training across global commercial teams. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Intuitive's Digital solutions — designing global curricula, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and enabling services and support teams to confidently implement, troubleshoot, and communicate the value of our digital products.
This role bridges technology, education, and customer success, ensuring teams worldwide can deliver consistent, high-quality training experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Global Training Design & Delivery
- Design, develop, and maintain a global training curriculum that standardizes technical competencies across commercial roles, applying instructional design best practices (needs analysis, learning objectives, assessment, and iteration).
- Facilitate training through in-person, virtual, and Train-the-Trainer formats, covering network, data, security, design, and product-specific workflows.
- Develop onboarding and continuous learning programs for digital solution deployments, minimizing escalation and accelerating adoption.
- Measure and track training effectiveness, using data to drive continuous improvement in learner proficiency.
- Manage multiple complex training projects and priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
- Act as the program manager for global programs which includes, building agendas, managing logistics, owning participant communication, setting up test environments, etc.
Technical Expertise & Support
- Act as a functional expert for Digital Technical Support Tier 1 and 2.
- Build and maintain training on networked solution configurations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and teach resolution methods for complex connectivity, access, and software application issues, with particular depth in TCP/IP and 802.11 networking protocols.
- Serve as subject matter expert on technical specifications and requirements for digital solutions; maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of core IT technologies — network systems, operating systems, databases, access controls, change control, application/system development, IT operations, incident response, monitoring, and asset management.
- Maintain proficiency in Intuitive business applications (Astra, SFDC, Artemis, etc.).
- Create training content for deployment across Commercial and Distributor Teams, with focused support for Digital Technical Support, Field Service, Customer Service, and Technical Support.
- Create content, including leader guides, E-learning modules, videos, performance support materials, etc.
Facilitation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Digital Learning Team, Digital Product Owners, Engineers, and Support teams to ensure training aligns with product requirements and updates. This includes staying in close partnership with global stakeholders to understand their business needs.
- Establish regular collaboration with product development and product management teams to stay current on evolving digital infrastructure, software upgrades, and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, Cybersecurity, and customer-facing teams to identify and address training needs.
- Liaise with local and corporate teams on new product introductions, upgrades, and related activities, serving as the technical subject matter expert.
