Vehicle Testing Specialist - Industrial

Travel Requirements

Extensive travel, including potential global assignments

The client is looking for candidates who can support autonomous vehicle (AV) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) testing programs.

You will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying issues, documenting results, and working closely with software engineers and vehicle operators to ensure testing is conducted safely and efficiently.

• Execute test plans on autonomous vehicles and ADAS development vehicles.
• Coordinate with software engineers and operations teams to improve testing procedures.
• Record detailed testing notes and prepare formal reports.
• Collaborate with vehicle operators during testing activities.
• Support troubleshooting and help identify issues during testing.
• Act as a safety champion for vehicle testing programs.

The client is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in hardware testing, software testing, data entry, or a similar technical role.
• Experience troubleshooting computers, hardware, or technical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in understanding autonomy software functionality.
• Prior experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, automotive, or related technical fields.
• Foundational knowledge of AV systems and sensors that you can confidently discuss.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively according to assignment requirements.

Important:
This is not an entry-level or no-experience position. Candidates should have foundational technical or AV/sensor knowledge. Candidates with slightly less AV experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong technical aptitude, willingness to learn, and extensive travel flexibility.

Travel is a core part of this position. The assignment may involve:

• Global travel for approximately 4–6 months per year, or
• Approximately 2-week travel assignments every few months, depending on the position.

Candidates must be comfortable with and able to accommodate the required travel schedule.
