Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Supply Chain Planning Specialist based out at Sunnyvale, CA. This is a full‑time, on‑site opportunity located in Sunnyvale, CA.
In this job, you will be:
- Responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting PO documentation throughout procurement process
- Understanding the breadth of the supply chain management scope (including materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material finance, and supplier management team)
- Understanding and supporting Earned Value Management reporting tasks
- Defining and developing material strategy
- Analyzing lead times and identifying critical path procurements
- Making sound decisions in a timely manner, displaying strong interpersonal skills, and having an agile mindset
- Responsible for the assessment of supply resources
- Understanding material cost variances and determining root causes and corrective actions for the variances
- Assisting, coordinating, and executing monthly material forecast planning and tracking
- Analyzing material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
- Evaluating suppliers, addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues, and noting key performance indicators
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of supply chain, material planning, general business, finance, manufacturing or closely related experience
- Experience with customer service
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
- Experience working Production Programs
- Experience with cost accounting management (CAM)
- Currently have an active DoD security clearance
Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
