The Staff Planning Analyst is responsible for end‑to‑end after‑market service parts planning, managing demand, supply, and inventory from process design through execution. This role is located in Sunnyvale, California, and requires an on‑site presence.
Responsibilities- Own and execute end‑to‑end demand, supply, and inventory planning for aftermarket service parts to ensure product availability and high service levels.
- Develop and maintain demand and supply plans that balance forecast accuracy, inventory targets, and on‑time delivery performance.
- Drive scalable, analytics‑led planning processes by leveraging systems, automation, and advanced data analysis to minimize manual intervention, prevent unvalidated demand from entering the pipeline, and proactively manage risks to inventory balance, service levels, and capacity.
- Maintain and continuously improve planning parameters and system settings to drive inventory efficiency, network performance, and financial outcomes.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Customer Care, Logistics, Order Management, and Procurement to resolve supply risks, prioritize customer needs, and identify cost‑reduction and network optimization opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience OR Doctoral degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with aftermarket service parts planning or complex, multi‑node supply networks preferred.
- Leadership experience solving complex problems, using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills; capable of presenting difficult concepts and negotiating with others to adopt new viewpoints.
- Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Experience with spares part planning software such as Baxter, PTC, SAP/ERP.
- Medical device experience is preferred.
- Database management and SQL skills.
The annual salary range for this role is – USD. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. The company offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
