Meta is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Program Manager to join the Product Data Operations (PDO) team. PDO delivers the data and insights that power machine learning and AI at the core of all Meta products. As a Program Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the success of AI programs, providing strategic direction, operational prowess, and cross‑functional collaboration.
You will leverage your expertise in managing large‑scale annotation operations and workforce management to ensure the successful execution of complex, high‑impact initiatives. Required Skills
Project Manager, Product Data Operations - MSL Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the planning, execution, and delivery of MSL programs, including initiating and scaling 0‑to‑1 effortsDrive alignment of program objectives with organizational goals by collaborating with MSL research, engineering, and product teamsOversee large‑scale data annotation operations, including managing relationships with onshore and offshore annotation vendors and leading a distributed workforceDevelop, implement, and continuously improve annotation project guidelines, ensuring alignment with product and research requirementsProactively identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate updates and rationale to stakeholders at all levelsEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure program success, quality, and efficiencyReport program progress, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadershipFoster a environment of continuous improvement, and innovation within the team and across vendor partnersMinimum Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, large‑scale programs in fast‑paced environmentsProficiency in the following programming languages:
Python, C++, and Java Script Demonstrated experience working at an annotation vendor or managing large‑scale data annotation operations, including workforce management of distributed teamsPrioritize, drive key initiatives forward, and manage multiple cross‑functional stakeholders with urgency and accountabilityExceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skillsNavigate ambiguity and lead teams through changeBachelor’s degreePreferred Qualifications
Certification in AI/MLExperience in consulting, product strategy, or building and scaling operations from 0 to 1 to 100Demonstrated success in delivering large‑scale programs on time and within budgetAdvanced proficiency with SQL and/or Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reportingExperience in AI, machine learning, or related technical fieldsPublic Compensation
$103,000/year to $155,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
