The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex capital equipment, medical device, robotics, or similar products and will serve as the key liaison between Engineering/Engineering PMO and Field Service, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Service Operations.

This role requires strong leadership, service-readiness expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive complex programs in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional NPI and product sustainment projects on behalf of the Global Services organization, ensuring service readiness, planning, communication, risk mitigation, and alignment with commercialization milestones.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, dependencies, and status reporting, providing early visibility into issues that may impact delivery.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to define and drive service requirements upstream, influencing product design, installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and overall serviceability.
  • Develop and execute domestic and global service strategies, ensuring Field Service, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Service Operations are prepared for new product launches.
  • Lead design reviews, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional working sessions while aligning Engineering, Marketing, Services, and other internal/external business partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project management, product development, service readiness, and product lifecycle processes, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Must-Have Skills
  • 4+ years of experience managing complex capital equipment, medical devices, robotics, or similar products involving mechanical, electrical, and software components.
  • Proven experience managing NPI/product launches on behalf of Field Service, Service Operations, or Technical Support organizations.
  • Strong experience with cross-functional project management, including schedules, risks, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, and business readiness.
  • Experience influencing product development through Design for Serviceability / Design for Maintenance principles and practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in medical device, surgical robotics, or highly regulated product development environments.
  • Familiarity with CFR, ISO, and medical device regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing products with complex architectures and large numbers of SKUs, service requirements, and global deployment considerations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Finance, or a related field;
Engineering or scientific degree strongly preferred.
  • PMP or other project management certification is preferred.
  • Strong ability to influence without direct authority, communicate with both technical and executive audiences, and facilitate complex cross-functional discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and proactively identify and resolve risks.

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week from the office
