Position Summary What you'll do Role summary:
The (USA) Distinguished, Technical Program Manager leads complex, large-scale programs by defining goals, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving clarity amid ambiguity. This role requires expertise in technical design, program planning, and stakeholder engagement to deliver end-to-end system solutions aligned with business objectives. The manager proactively identifies risks, optimizes resources, and mentors teams to enhance processes and accelerate delivery. By leveraging data-driven insights and fostering collaboration, this position ensures successful execution of strategic initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and operational excellence.
About the team:
The Marketplace TPM team partners with Business, Product, and Engineering leaders to advance Walmart’s key strategic initiatives focused on enhancing Marketplace Trust. Positioned at the intersection of technology, product strategy, and business execution, the team leads complex programs across multiple organizations. Their efforts enable global Marketplace scaling by driving cross-functional alignment, managing risks, and delivering scalable technical solutions. Emphasizing strong stakeholder engagement, program management excellence, and continuous improvement, the team supports Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and innovation through effective project and technical design leadership.
What you'll do:

• Enterprise-Scale Execution:Leadthestrategy,planning,andend-to-enddeliveryofcompany-wide,multi-yeartechnicalinitiatives,spanningdozensoforganizationsandhundredsofengineers.
• Strategic Technical Partnership :Partner with Senior Engineer sand Senior Architectstoshapetechnicalstrategy ,high availability,performance,andalignmentwithdeliverytimelines.
• Ambiguity Resolution&Plan Execution:Takeownershipofhighlyambiguous"0to1"initiativeswherenoprecedentexists.
• Systemic Optimization&Workflows:Identifyanddismantleorganizationalsilosandsystemicfrictionpoints.
• Executive&Stakeholder Communication:Actasatrustedadvisortotheexecutiveteamandboardmembers.
