We are seeking a  
** Polymer Development Chemist
** to provide technical expertise in polymer chemistry and support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position plays a critical role in process development, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and technology transfer while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in polymer chemistry, manufacturing support, process optimization, and technical documentation, along with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and improving production processes.

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm*
* ** Pay Range:**  $30.00-$ 40.00/hr.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Develop, optimize, and improve polymer chemistry processes to increase manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

+ Optimize chromatography column packing and testing processes.

+ Provide day-to-day technical troubleshooting and process support for manufacturing operations.

+ Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

+ Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and R&D teams to successfully transfer new products and processes into production.

+ Analyze manufacturing and process data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

+ Support implementation of new component systems, process changes, and manufacturing protocols.

+ Perform and support in-process product testing.

+ Prepare, review, and maintain:

+ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

+ Batch records

+ Technical reports

+ Manufacturing documentation

+ Investigate, document, and resolve manufacturing deviations.

+ Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.

+ Train manufacturing operators and technicians on:

+ Polymer chemistry processes

+ Column packing and testing

+ Equipment operation

+ Safety procedures

+ Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Serve as the polymer chemistry subject matter expert for manufacturing teams.

** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline with a focus on Polymer Chemistry.

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in:

+ Polymer chemistry

+ Process development

+ Manufacturing support

+ Chemical manufacturing

+ Related industrial environments

+ Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry principles and manufacturing processes.

+ Experience supporting production operations in a manufacturing environment.

+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.

+ Experience developing technical documentation and SOPs.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
