Job Description & How to Apply Below

Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. This architecture allows Cerebras to deliver industry-leading training and inference speeds; over 10 times faster than GPU-based hyperscale cloud inference services.

This order of magnitude increase in speed is transforming the user experience of AI applications, unlocking real-time iteration and increasing intelligence via additional agentic computation.

Cerebras works with the leading model labs, global enterprises, and cutting-edge AI-native startups. OpenAI recently announced a multi-year partnership with Cerebras, to deploy 750 megawatts of scale, transforming key workloads with ultra high-speed inference.

The Role

Demand for AI infrastructure is growing fast, and capacity is only useful when it is real, power-ready, and delivered on time. We are seeking a Director of Technical Program Management (TPM) to lead global capacity planning and delivery across data center infrastructure, owning the end-to-end lifecycle from demand forecasting through design, construction, deployment, and operational readiness.

You will lead a TPM organization that turns business demand into executable capacity plans and keeps priority programs moving through changing facts, constraints, and trade-offs. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution: building the mechanisms, operating cadence, and data-driven systems that make infrastructure delivery predictable at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Own the global capacity planning system, aligning demand forecasts with credible supply, build roadmaps, and delivery commitments

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure capacity across colocation, build-to-suit, retrofit, and owned-build programs

  • Turn long-range demand into executable, multi-year programs with clear owners,

    milestones, risks, and decision points

  • Build planning, tracking, and governance mechanisms that separate real capacity from

optimistic assumptions and keep delivery on track

  • Establish metrics for capacity health, delivery predictability, schedule confidence, and

    capital efficiency

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, real estate, construction, supply chain, networking, and operations

  • Use data-driven modeling and scenario analysis to guide investment decisions, expose

    constraints, and inform trade-offs

  • Manage risks, constraints, and dependencies across programs and regions, escalating early when power, schedule, supply chain, or execution assumptions change

  • Provide clear executive-level reporting on delivery status, capacity outlook, risks, and trade-offs

  • Build and lead a high-performing TPM team with clear ownership and accountability

Skills & Qualifications
  • 7-10 years in technical program management, infrastructure delivery, or related fields

  • 5+ years leading teams and large-scale program portfolios

  • Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical programs

  • Strong understanding of capacity planning, forecasting, and infrastructure delivery lifecycle

  • Experience with capital planning, budgeting, and cost optimization

  • Strong analytical and systems thinking skills with a data-driven approach

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills

Impact

You will build the operating system for how the organization plans, validates, and delivers infrastructure capacity r work will shape time-to-capacity, capital efficiency, customer readiness, and the company’s ability to grow with speed and discipline.
