Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic is Hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Assistant!

  • Role: Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Assistant
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Based on experience and licensure:
    • Assistants: $24 - $30 per hour
    • RVTs: $26 - $32 per hour
  • Schedule: 4-day work weeks with rotating Saturday shifts

Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our friendly, outgoing team! We’re a five-doctor, AAHA-accredited practice in the heart of Silicon Valley with two unique locations — our main clinic and a Feline

VMA Gold Certified, stand‑alone cat clinic with dedicated feline‑only doctors.

What You’ll Do

  • Collect patient histories and obtain vitals
  • Assist with client communication on diagnostics, treatment plans, and at‑home care
  • Perform and assist with diagnostics and treatments

    Run in‑house lab work and assist with imaging
  • Support surgical and dental procedures
  • Assist with anesthesia monitoring and advanced technical tasks
  • Educate clients with clarity and compassion
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly
  • Practice Fear Free and low‑stress handling techniques
