Job Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time GRILL COOK position in Sunnyvale, CA (700 East Middlefield Road). Notice: online applications only. Full‑time schedule Monday‑Friday with variable hours; some weekends included.

Pay: $27.80 to $29.49 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Free shift meals and most weekends off.

• 1 to 2 years of previous grill cooking experience.

• Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation. Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly while meeting established service steps and standards. Ensure food is at correct temperature and attractive.
• Use ticket‑collection procedures during service; maintain records from area worked during service periods.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
• Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to supervisor.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
