Catering Sales & Operations Manager

Haute Cuisine Catering is a growing Bay Area company specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Catering Sales & Operations Manager to take ownership of our catering department and lead the complete client journey from inquiry to execution.

Respond to leads, conduct client consultations, prepare custom proposals and contracts, close sales, and track pipeline and revenue.

Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring all details-including menus, rentals, guest counts, and payments-are accurately documented and managed.

Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and timelines, coordinate with culinary and vendor teams, and oversee on-site event execution.

Streamline office workflows, establish efficient systems, train support staff, and take increasing ownership to free up company ownership from day-to-day management.

• 5+ years of professional experience in catering, event management, or hospitality.
• Proven track record in catering sales, business development, and closing deals.
• Strong expertise in event operations, rentals, staffing, and documentation.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• Proficient with Google Workspace, MS Office, and event or CRM software.

Within 3–6 months, you will independently manage sales and inquiries, improve conversion rates, maintain client relationships, and coordinate event planning and execution with minimal owner involvement.
