Location:

Compensation: $65,000-$70,000 annually (DOE) + bonus. Prior-year bonus was approximately 3-4 months of salary annually, depending on performance.

A global manufacturer serving semiconductor and advanced industrial markets is seeking an Inside Sales Staff member to support order operations, customer service, and inventory management.

The Inside Sales Staff will manage the full sales order process, including order entry, purchase orders, invoicing, inventory coordination, and customer support. Professional Japanese and English proficiency is required to effectively coordinate with customers, sales representatives, management, and manufacturing facilities.

• Process incoming orders received through EDI, web portals, and email.
• Prepare sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
• Ensure customer-specific shipping, barcode, labeling, and order requirements are accurately recorded.
• Process spot orders and consignment usage reports.
• Manage inventory levels with sales representatives and process inventory purchase orders.
• Communicate with customers regarding product availability, order confirmations, changes, cancellations, invoices, and complaints.
• Support item/price registration, sample requests, and quotation preparation.
• Coordinate with sales representatives and management regarding products and company policies.
• Analyze ordering and vendor-managed inventory consumption trends based on customer production plans.
• Communicate customer inventory status to factories to support timely fulfillment.
• Manage assigned customer inventory and physical inventory counts.
• Create and maintain sales operations manuals and related documentation.

• Professional Japanese and English language ability.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately manage orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across customers, sales teams, and manufacturing operations.

• 2+ years of Inside Sales experience.
• SAP experience.
• Experience with sales order processing, purchase orders, inventory management, or customer support.
• Experience with EDI, customer web portals, or consignment/VMI operations.

• Initially expected to work onsite daily.
• After demonstrating sufficient proficiency, up to 2 remote workdays per week may be considered.
• Performance-based bonus provided separately from base salary.
• This role may include additional responsibilities as needed based on business needs.
