The Senior Project Manager, Innovation owns delivery across a range of innovation projects. This role supports execution rigor, portfolio visibility, and KPI performance using Danaher Business System (DBS) principles. This is a unique opportunity to partner across scientific, engineering, and operations teams to advance next-generation oligonucleotide synthesis technologies and platforms.
This position reports to the Director, Emerging Technologies and is part of the Emerging Technologies Team located in Sunnyvale, CA. This is an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead coordination of high-performing, cross-functional project teams with clear accountability for outcomes and delivery
- Facilitate adoption of DBS tools and behaviors (standard work, visual management, Kaizen, structured problem solving)
- Remove barriers, manage risk, and drive corrective actions to ensure consistent, on-time delivery
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
- Prefer 5+ years' experience in R&D, innovation or technology development environment with preference for 3+ years of experience in project or program management
- Strong working knowledge of structured problem solving, project management frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent bilingual communication and stakeholder management skills:
Mandarin and English required - Ability to travel up to 20% domestic and international as needed to support cross-site collaboration
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Danaher Business System (DBS) or similar lean/continuous improvement environment
- Oligonucleotide synthesis, genomics, or related life sciences technologies

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 – $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
