Position Title: Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $28.05 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM;
Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support site operations by observing equipment yards, loading and receiving areas, and other assigned locations for policy compliance, disturbances, and other security-related issues.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
