Job Overview
Garda World Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a Fin Tech client. The role focuses on high customer service in office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and similar environments.
Location & Schedule- Sunnyvale, CA
- Full‑time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
- Competitive hourly wage of $23.78 / hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

- Welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Manage access control and issue credentials
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property
- State security license and 32‑hour BSIS security training (additional training can be obtained during the hiring process)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of corporate security experience
- High level of customer service experience
- Experience verifying and issuing credentials for visitors
- Experience monitoring CCTV systems
- Basic phone and computer skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus
- Background and drug screening required; successful completion of security training
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
