- Customer service duties such as welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
- Manage access control and verify credentials
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property
- State security license and additional 32‑hour BSIS security training (additional trainings obtainable during hiring process)
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of corporate security experience
- High level of customer service experience
- Experience verifying and issuing visitor credentials
- Experience monitoring CCTV
- Phone and email communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in a security operations center (SOC) preferred
- Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus
- Site location:
Sunnyvale, CA - Part‑time schedule: 16 hours per week (Wednesday/Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am)
- Competitive hourly wage: $23.78 / hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)
