As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service.

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential apartment community.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, garages, amenities, and property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior and property concerns, and document incidents according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders while maintaining accurate activity and incident reports.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
