As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Badge Support in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors as directed, and report irregularities or maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
