The position is responsible for providing quality carpet and upholstery cleaning, hard floor restoration, and water extraction services to commercial clients. This is a night shift, working from approximately 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and may include weekends.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Communicate consistently with clients, technicians, and management.
- Follow work-order instructions and complete all related paperwork, including before- and after-pictures and time-and-note capture.
- Ensure scheduled jobs complete within budgeted hours or sooner.
- Take proactive and creative approaches to resolve challenges.
- Perform cleaning and restoration methods for carpet, furniture, wall panels, upholstery, fabric, leather, and hard surfaces such as ceramic, porcelain, and stone.
- Execute water-damage restoration procedures.
- Maintain a safe work area, using caution signs and barriers.
- Drive company vehicles to client locations.
- Keep cleaning equipment and vehicles in good condition.
- Report to work on time in the required uniform.
- Pursue IICRC certifications in commercial carpet, upholstery, water restoration, and ceramic tile.
- Follow all company rules, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain alertness and safety while performing job functions.
- Communicate issues, concerns, and questions to supervisors.
- Meet physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing other tasks as required.
- Effectively accomplish assigned work orders and coordinate resources.
- Respond promptly to team needs.
- Communicate consistently and align efforts within the team.
- Obtain IICRC certifications in carpet, upholstery, water restoration, and hard floors.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Desired: IICRC certifications (not mandatory).
- At least 1 year of experience or training (desired but not mandatory).
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; photo-taking skills a plus.
- Professional personal presentation.
- High level of interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to handle changing priorities and meet objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with all company levels and clients.
- Poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and adjust schedule as needed.
