* About the role:

*
* The Building Maintenance Technician will maintain the building's furniture, fixtures and equipment. This individual will perform basic maintenance/repairs to flooring, walls,plumbing and HVAC systems.  In the eventof an emergency, he/she may be called to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency.

The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but CBRE GWS Local may identify other responsibilities ofthe position as needed. These responsibilities may differ among accounts,depending on business necessities and client requirements.

** Responsibilities*
* + Performs tasks, such as but not limited to, changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance, workstation assembly and repair plus other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled tradesperson or journeyman.

+ Readily takes direction from Facility Manage rand Facility Coordinator.

Willingly support steam members upon requests.

+ Identifies and corrects unsafe working conditions with management oversight.

+ Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

+ Complies with all company safety andrisk management policies and procedures.

+ Reports all accidents and injuries ina timely manner.

+ Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

+ Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.

+ May be required to assist with special events.

+ May drive a cart or other vehicle.

+ Assists skilled trade workers in oneor more areas performing specific or standard duties to learn new skills as required for advancement and certification.

+ May be required to utilize basic cleaning and other chemicals.

+ Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble.

+ Adjusts functional parts of furniture,fixtures and equipment as necessary.

+ May order replacement parts and equipment with management approval.

+ Inspects completed repairs.

+ May be required to inventory equipment, parts and supplies.

* + Close vision, distance vision,peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with orwithout corrective lenses.

+ Comfortable with significant walkingor other means of mobility.

+ Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

+ Ability to reach, bend, stoop, pushand/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40pounds.

** Experience/Knowledge:*
* + High School diploma or GED

+ 3 or more years of related experience.
