Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Software Development Engineer II in Sunnyvale, CA.

Summary:

The Software Development Engineer will be enhancing the KPOP test infra, test coverage, operational dashboards, feature development, bug fixes, and building CI/CD pipelines. Primary responsibilities also include building automation, enhancing test framework and test coverage, enhancing operational dashboards, developing software features, fixing bugs, and building CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.

• A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience is required
• Good scripting and AWS experience
• Communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure
• Proficiency in at least one of the high level programming languages (Python, Rust, Java)
• Technical skills include AWS CDK
• Experience working in Linux environment
• Experience with AWS services

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
