- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOPS)
- Extensive knowledge of model-view-controller (MVC) driven front end application development with one or more of UI frameworks such as Angular JS (preferred), JQuery, ExtJS etc.
- Thorough understanding of synchronous vs. asynchronous calls
- Solid understanding of the Web Application optimization, best practices in UI development
- Excellent communication skills via email, instant messaging, conference calls, and in-person
- Extensive knowledge with technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Node.js (big plus)
- Skilled in REST/SOAP/XML web service integration, web security, JSON
- Solid understanding of Software Design Patterns and SDLC
- Experience with Mac OS and Terminal a plus
- An eye for UX design a plus
- Proficient in development using JSP, XML, SSO, Apache Tomcat/Web Logic and SQL(RDBMS)/NO SQL databases
