Job Title:

DEVELOPER L3 (CONTRACT)

Location:

Sunnyvale, California, United States.

Contract duration: more than 6 months, starting February 26, 2026.

Pay: $45,000 – $121,000 USD per annum.

• Design, test, and maintain software programs for client deployment, ensuring 100% quality assurance compliance.
• Set up, configure, and operate Apache Druid clusters, including real‑time and batch ingestion (Kafka, streaming tasks, indexing services).
• Manage segment lifecycle, compaction, retention, and query optimization for Druid.
• Deploy and tune Trino clusters for large‑scale distributed queries, configure connectors (Hive, Iceberg, Delta Lake, JDBC).
• Write clean, maintainable, production‑grade Python code for automation and backend services.
• Build tooling for deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Configure security settings (authentication, authorization, access control) and implement REST APIs.
• Ensure continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring with 100% error‑free onboarding and implementation.
• Deliver MIS and reporting on time, and support quality and CSAT metrics.

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering and software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and backend services.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Druid, Trino, Kafka, and real‑time/batch ingestion pipelines.
• Knowledge of data visualization engineering and related libraries.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JDBC, Delta Lake, Hive, and Iceberg.
• Experience in performance troubleshooting and query optimization.
• Background in security configuration and access control.

Annual salary range: $45,000 – $121,000 USD, depending on experience, location, and skill set.
