Job Description

Primary Function of Position
The intern will help make key enhancements to a rapidly growing and recently commercialized product. The product spans mobile app, web, cloud, desktop software, ML algorithms and hospital installed software. Primary focus of intern will be to prototype 3D visualization algorithms to display anatomic structures for surgical planning purpose. The intern will be supervised by senior engineers.

Essential Job Duties

• Develop 3D visualization feature for mobile and/or web apps to display anatomic structures
• Develop interactive 3D image processing algorithms for mobile or web apps

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:

• University Enrollment:
  Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program after the internship.
• Internship Work Period:
  Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.

Job Duty Requirements:

• Formal training in 3D visualization, covering hardware, algorithms, and software
• Proficient in Java script, GIT
• Familiar with WebGL, or OpenGL, or ThreeJS
• Familiar with React Native

Required Education and Training:

• Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related degree-seeking program at the Master's, or Doctorate level.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiar with CUDA programming
• Familiar with Web-Assembly
• Experience with Medical Image Processing
