• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience working with Java.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of relevant work experience in business application development or implementation.
• Experience implementing, customizing or integrating third‑party applications within business enterprise software.
• Knowledge of software implementation lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).

Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer‑facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross‑functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

• Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.
• Identify, assess, estimate, and solve complex business challenges, where analysis of situations, scenarios or data requires an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors including security.
• Develop, build, and deploy applications using various platforms and technologies. Work closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain highest levels of development practices including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation or execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, and self‑sustaining code.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $138,000–$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
