Curie Tech, a Silicon Valley-based startup, builds cutting‑edge AI software to help software development teams become more productive. The company focuses on R&D to build, fine‑tune, and work with emerging generative AI foundation models. Founded in 2023, it is backed by highly regarded Silicon Valley venture capitalists.

As a Full Stack Engineer in our generative AI startup, your role will involve designing APIs and then architecting and implementing cloud‑based microservices to implement those APIs. You will also implement the user interfaces that consume those APIs and integrate them into the user interfaces of other products. You will work in a tight‑knit team, collaborating closely with the founder and other founding engineers who have a strong track record of building industry‑defining machine learning and analytics products.

• Rapidly prototype ideas to fit user requirements and operational feasibility.
• Take prototypes and product ionize them with well‑architected, well‑designed, and testable code.
• Practice test‑driven development and build test suites and frameworks that lead to high‑quality implementations.
• Document and maintain software functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Ensure software is updated with latest features.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM educational background from reputable institutions.
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Frontend:
  Expertise in JavaScript, Type Script, and proficiency with modern frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js, and Vue.js.
• Backend:
  Expertise in API design and implementation, ORM concepts and frameworks, and knowledge of frameworks such as Graph
  
  QL, database schema design, and application databases such as Mongo
  
  DB, Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, Dynamo
  
  DB, etc. Also knowledge of how to build highly available, scalable, and performant applications.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience in microservices architecture and containerization.
• Participation in or contribution to open‑source projects, especially in the AI/ML domain.
• Startup experience.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite 4‑5 days a week at our Sunnyvale office.
