Software Engineer
Position
This position is for a Staff Software Engineer supporting the RAPT-2 Team. The Engineer will work on Software Systems for RAPT-2, including the development of Specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICD), test scenarios, and support for formal and informal test events in a lab environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with peers and occasional customers in a team environment.
- Develop and maintain specifications and ICDs between hardware and software.
- Support software verification of requirements.
- Create test scenarios to evaluate new capabilities or verify defect fixes.
- Troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision.
- Analyze mission problems and propose solutions involving data processing equipment.
- Participate in formal and informal test events to ensure compliance with customer standards and quality.
- Software requirements definition experience.
- ICD definition between hardware and software.
- Experience working with systems engineering to define software.
- Ability to verify software requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of SV CONOPS.
- Programming experience required.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Cameo modeling experience.
- Agile programming experience.
- Software testing experience.
- Knowledge of VM infrastructure.
- CONOPS development experience.
- Script development skills.
