Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead our Marketplace Platform team in Walmart U.S. You will manage a team of software engineers, collaborate cross‑functionally, and provide technical leadership for the marketplace platform.
What You’ll Do- Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and maintain our marketplace platform
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product management, design, and operations to ensure alignment and delivery
- Develop and execute technical strategies to improve platform scalability, reliability, and performance
- Design and implement multitenancy architecture to support multiple clients and users
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and enhance customer experience
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative environment and leading by example
- Share knowledge with international peers and drive technical best practices
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on platform development
- Strong background in multitenancy and high‑scale systems
- Experience with AI tools and technologies
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving technical innovation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
- Strong leadership and management skills, motivating and inspiring team members
