Embedded Software Developer for RDK-B

Location:

Sunnyvale, California | Contract

• Strong understanding of IEEE
  802.11 protocol
• Design, develop and testing of Wi‑Fi software feature for Comcast Wi‑Fi gateway/extender product
• Experience and knowledge on IEEE
  802.11/Wi‑Fi protocols such as WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax
• Work with vendors to integrate Wi‑Fi chipset solutions
• Provide technical assistance to other teams to troubleshoot customer Wi‑Fi issues
• Work on development of new Wi‑Fi features on RDKB platform
• Hands‑on experience on C/C++ programming
• Strong knowledge of Linux Operating systems
• Hands‑on experience working in Linux environment
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of source version control tools like git, Git Hub, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Work on design and implementation of RDKB features, bug fixes and troubleshooting
• Coordinating with offshore team members
• Presenting weekly status reports to stakeholders

• Embedded Software Development using C/C++
• Understanding of RDKB
• Understanding of IEEE
  802.11 protocol
• Strong knowledge of Linux Operating systems
