Senior Software Engineer, iOS

About the Team

Door Dash is building the world's most reliable on‑demand logistics engine for delivery. We continue to grow rapidly and expand our Engineering offices globally.

Senior iOS Engineers build and maintain a large‑scale, 24×7 global infrastructure system that powers Door Dash's three‑sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and Dashers. In this hybrid role, you will work from an on‑site location as required and report directly to an Engineering Manager.

• Work within our engineering teams to build exciting features.
• Improve our code base through continuous refactoring.
• Solve challenging real‑time data transfer and synchronization problems.
• Extend and implement our APIs.
• Implement unit tests.
• Keep up‑to‑date with industry standards of iOS development.

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) across the full software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoa Pods.
• Strong systems and object‑oriented programming knowledge.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

Pay ranges are based on local market conditions and position level:

• Level I4: $130,600 – $192,000 USD
• Level I5: $159,800 – $235,000 USD
• Level I6: $193,800 – $285,000 USD

In addition to base salary, compensation includes equity grants.
