Ruckus Networks is seeking an Escalation Engineer who is passionate about making pioneer smart Wi‑Fi products. These products enable carriers and enterprises to stay ahead of the exploding demand for high‑bandwidth applications and services.

• Support and development of Ruckus product, including Wi‑Fi Access Point (AP), Controller (premise and cloud), and Ruckus analytic tools.
• Teamwork:
  Interact with support team to live debug and troubleshoot customer field issues and recover customer network promptly.
• Self‑motivated:
  Independently reproduce customer network issues in the lab and isolate the root cause from the lab reproduction.
• Quick deliver:
  Commit code in the active branches, verify the fix in the lab, and deliver patch solutions to customer.
• Deliver business impact:
  Develop customer‑requested features to meet customer requirement and use cases.

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 10 years in software engineering with a strong track record of code development on network devices.
• Languages:
  
  Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Java.
• Networking:
  Deep expertise in IP networking, routing protocols. Strong Wi‑Fi background is a plus.
• Strong debug capability and troubleshooting scale in L2/L3 network.

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third‑party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
